Better Call Saul Season 1, Episode 1 "Uno". True to the closing dialogue in Breaking Bad, Saul is living in quiet desperation in a Cinnabon in Omaha, Nebraska. But this is only a flash-forward, Saul is a struggling Jimmy McGill, cutting his public defender teeth in Albuquerque courtrooms for $700 a case. Jimmy's brother Chuck is struggling with metal difficulties and Saul/Jimmy helps him. The confrontation with Chuck's partners at Hamlin, Hamlin, McGill set up a conflict that we are likely to see for the rest of the season. Along the way, we meet Mike and a menacing Tuco, providing a promising potential for past and future dramatic encounters.
